Introduction

Takeda is a patient-focused, values-based, R&D-driven global biopharmaceutical company committed to bringing Better Health and a Brighter Future to people worldwide.

Challenge

The distraction and interruption generated from the overuse of technology ("Technoference”) is impacting businesses' productivity and the capacity for team members to collaborate. Takeda Oncology Europe / Canada was looking for a solution to improve collaboration and sense of belonging during Christmas time.

The solution proposed must tap on Takeda's key values and be guided by its commitment to patients, people and the planet (sustainaiblity).

Location: Europe and Canada (Spain, France, Italy, Germany, UK, Portugal, Ireland, Switzerland).

Solution

After analyzing Takeda's key values, messaging and branding guidelines we developed an adapted version of our Bagby Family digital device hanging station. Our creative and production team designed a custom version with 24 pockets (Advent Calendar) that included 24 healthy habits to encourage team collaboration and engagement.
The custom advent calendar was made of recycled materials and aligned with the brand aesthetics (colors, logos, messaging, etc.).

Every team member involved had to take on each daily challenge and share their experiences with their peers.

Key Highlights

After a successful branded team experience involving more than 1000 employees across 10 different countries, we have been approached to develop other custom digital wellbeing solutions (such a branded desk pad) for other offices (Japan, Europe, etc.).

Members involved in the advent calendar experience reported higher levels of happiness and team cohesion. The feedback has been very positive and led to other opportunities within the company.
