Loved on nightstands everywhere
The clock arrived with second hand loose inside the face. How can this be fixed?
The clock came with a small abrasion o top. I would not expect that for a brand new item. Am disappointed and would like to return.
The wood has a nice ergonomic hand. Its QUIET. It’s a pretty clock/handsome, but very simple clock. The snooze/light feature is a bit wonky. I find that I have to press for snooze and while depressed, push done directionally to get the light to go off. If I’m in not looking at the clock (because I’m snoozing) then I may not realize the clock light is on. The knobs/casing on the back feel cheap and delicate. I wish they were made of a higher quality plastic, but otherwise I’m satisfied and would buy again. 🙂

Beautiful but completely useless. The hands are the same color as the background. You cannot tell what time it is.
It’s a lovely clock, and my third, but, on this one, the hands are white (the others are black) against a white face, and are very hard to see.

We got it for our son who’s learning analog clocks-it’s prefect. We didn’t want led lights/noisy clock for his bedside and this is perfect.

I wanted to love this clock but it simply does not work. I bought it a few years ago and it just won't keep time or work. I have tried carbon zinc batteries (special order hard to find) and standard alkaline batteries and the clock will work for just a few days at a time then it dies. Waste of money and too bad since it is so simple.

Just what I wanted for a bedside table - a quiet, simple clock with optional alarm feature.
There needs to be either a snooze button or an easy off button on top.
This is actually my second alarm clock from Bagby. I broke my first one trying to turn the alarm off in a sleepy haze and knocking if off the bedframe. I thought I could live without it, but quickly realized how much I relied on this little alarm clock for multiple things. The alarm function is great. The alarm noise does the job and isn't annoying or jarring. I love having a clock in my bedroom that I can check when the baby is making noise on the monitor. Or if I'm doing things in my bedroom, I don't have to keep my phone on me to know the time. This alarm clock has really helped me disconnect from my phone in the evenings and in the mornings. Its been great.
Pros: elegant design looks beautiful on my nightstand, easy setup, truly silent, 5-minute snooze isn’t enough to fully fall asleep again so I snooze fewer times
Cons: alarm is a little hard to set accurately, light could be dimmer, would love adjustable alarm volume (a little too loud for me, a very light sleeper)
The item is very cute and works well. The alarm sound itself is not gentle or a calming way to wake up. I was hoping for something a little more chill to help remove phone time but also keep my nervous system regulated as I am really sensitive to noises.

Purchasing the Bagby Silent Alarm Clock is part of our decision to also move slightly backwards in tech, and trade in our iPhone 13 Pro Max’s for a Simple Sunbeam Wireless Flip phone. The Bagby Silent Alarm clocks are fantastic for simplicity, design and function, and using the built in light to see what time it is, “if” you wake up at all, is much more pleasant than the Blue Light and distraction that checking the time from a Smart Phone would provide. The Alarm is PERFECT as well. We now have 4 of these Bagby Silent Alarm clocks, one for each bedroom. Definitely more “human”.
