WHAT DOES THE ALARM SOUND LIKE?
Our only goal is to provide a digital-free sleep so that you can start your day in a more mindful way.
We know, it's all about BALANCE. The best solution is always found in the intersection between the two worlds (old & new). This is why we manage to elevate and make a mindful version of the traditional alarm clock.
Some people might prefer white noise or a meditation sound but, let's be honest, you still need to wake up.
Also, we don't want an alarm clock that is connected to our phone. If the point is to remove the phone from the bedroom, let's be honest again, it's quite paradoxical.
The alarm has a gentle beeping sound. The ascending alarm begins sound faintly and then grew increasingly louder for gently wake up without being awakened abruptly.
The TRADITIONAL BELL alarm sound
We know, how did our parents and grandparents wake up like this? Well, they used to have a ticking clock in the living room, too.
OUR MINDFUL ALARM SOUND
The alarm has a gentle beeping sound. The ascending / progressive alarm begins to sound faintly and then grows increasingly louder to gently wake up..
The BUZZER digital alarm sound
We never understood why someone would do this to human-kind.

With a Human Soul"
We believe there is a more HUMAN way to overcome the current overwhelming technology and digital dependency.
We want to solve the problem by creating beautifully crafted and digital-free solutions (no more apps) that help us disconnect from our devices.
Our solutions are reminders that real connections start the moment we put our smartphones away and we proudly celebrate that.
Digital wellness is not an app but an entire LIFESTYLE CHANGE. It’s about building positive routines that enhance our human condition, not downgrade them. At Bagby, our MISSION is to decrease people's screen time while increasing their HUMAN time.
THANK YOU FOR KEEPING US HUMAN.

Wonderful clock !
Beautiful. Very silent. No ticking. Does not intrude into my peace and privacy. One less plastic item in my house. Real wood. Beautiful to look at. Friendly and warm to the touch. Quiet and kind presence in my room. Want a couple of more for my kitchen and bathroom. Thank you for making such a nice clock !
These are a great size for a desk!
Clean and Simple
Nice looking with clean lines, simple to use, easy to read, good price point. I really appreciate the focus on natural materials (no plastic packaging, bravo!). My two small nits: the clock can be a noisy ticker at times – shaking or tapping it seems to take care of it, so it's not a deal killer. Would also be nice if the light stayed on for a few seconds after pushing the button so there's time to pull my hand away and see the face.
Alarm doesn't set accurately! Returned.
The clock itself was fine. It was true the battery does need to be jammed in there pretty hard. I thought i had but could tell it was crooked and it ended up going in further. I hated the alarm part. Which was the entire reason for buying the clock to try and stop using my phone for an alarm. The alarm function only has 1 arm! The other arm you see is for seconds. So in order to set the alarm you can point the single arm at a number and it'll go off around there. If you want to set it for something specific like 615, 620, 635am, it is nearly impossible bc you just have to place the arm somewhere in the centimeter of space between the 6 and 7 and hope it'll go off close to the time you are wanting. It's ridiculous! I paid $31 and after shipping both ways only got $19 back. But the alarmclock was useless trash to me. Very disappointed. It'd also be nice if it had a way to notify of low battery so you don't ac identally oversleep one day when it's dead.
Hi Kaitlyn, Thank you for sharing your feedback. As every analog clock, there is only one alarm hand. Actually, this makes the alarm setting much easier and intuitive because you just need to focus on one. If you still find this challenging, we recommend to get the clocks with numbered dial (instead of minimalist black dial) because they have numbers and marks between the hours for a more accurate alarm setting. Our team has reach out to make that switch for you. Also, we put together a simple page with some instructions and recommendation on how to set your alarm in your Bagby clock https://bagby.co/pages/analog-alarm-clock-instructions-guide
review of minimalist alarm clock
I have to admit that for the money this is really a very nice piece. I love the finish and although it's not really in use this first week I still can't manage to put it away. I'm going to take it on out calls for my new business as a massage therapist and I will definitely be talking about it whenever I get a comment. Thanks, guys!
