Bagby MINIMALIST - Silent Alarm Clock

A reliable nightstand alarm clock so far.

I really like how the alarm tone gradually increases in volume, rather than starting at 100%, which can make your heart race when you wake up.

I had hoped for a more prominent snooze button. But the snooze seems to be operated by the tiny button on the back to illuminate the face, which is unclear in the description, and I figured out completely by accident.

But, in all honesty, I probably shouldn't be using the snooze button anyway, haha. I have a problematic history with it...

Anywho, I purchased it in the white-painted wood housing for a minimalist aesthetic, and it provides that acceptably. But it appears to be a standard plastic alarm clock wrapped in a wood frame. I had hoped for something more...substantial.

I love the concept of keeping e-gadgets out of the bedroom (TV too) and ours has always been tech-free. I bought this sweet little clock for our recently remodeled guest bath. It is exactly what I was looking for to complement the room. One possible consideration would be to add feet. I’ll likely add low-profile silicone spots to protect from sink splashes.

The clock came in perfect condition and looks great. (I thought it'd be a little smaller, but that's my mistake.) I also wish there were a snooze function, but of course, this isn't digital. In all, it's a great product...you can hear the alarm but it's not completely obnoxious, and, as described, there is no distracting ticking sound. I definitely recommend.

I wanted a bedside clock that was easy to read, and the contract between the hands and face allows me to read it most of the time without the light. It is also silent, which is a nice bonus.

I really like this clock. It has a beautiful, simple look, is really SILENT, and is accurate. The alarm is very reliable to wake me up on time. I no longer need to relay on my iPhone as an alarm clock. 100% satisfied with this purchase.

I have been using my phone for years and forgot how to use an alarm clock. I love this clock and the simplicity of it. Beautiful wooden encasement. The alarm is not startling and starts low. I would recommend that if you're trying to remove phones from your area while sleeping.

Very simple alarm clock, just as I'd hoped. Plan to use as a backup alarm to my primary alarm clock to get my phone out of the bedroom at night. I'd say the photos are color-accurate; the wooden body has a warm tone to it.

Like everything about this little clock except one thing: I wish I could set it so the light stays 'on.' The photos show a glowing dial, but that's not the case. You have to reach around and push the button to read the time in the middle of the night.

It looks great. It's very simple to use, completely silent and doesn't have a distracting light. I've been keeping my phone downstairs and my phone time is already way down from using the alarm clock.

I gave this clock to my son as a gift. He like the idea but was immediately disappointed that it can’t be recharged. The battery has to be thrown out and young people aren’t used to that. Usually things can be recharged by USB. He is concerned about the environment. Other than the disposable problem, the clock is great and will help him avoid his phone at night so he can sleep better.

This clock is working well a week after arriving. We love its appearance and compactness, elegant and just the right size in the nightstand

Return policy is too conservative and not smooth. My clock arrived defective and I was thorough in trying to get it to operate. The return policy required me to video that the clock was not working. This is unnecessary and should just require the item to be returned for a replacement or a full refund. Not pleased at all by return policy of what is otherwise an attractive merchandise.

There was some shipping damage but the seller reconciled this swiftly. It’s a beautiful little clock. Very nice to check the time in the night with the little light. It has a great feel and is a calming little time piece that is functional and beautiful in the bedroom space.

I used to wake up every 2 hours and after just a few days using the clock and removing my phone next to my bedside table I sleep for 5 and 1/2 to 6 and 1/2 hours and I have totally limited my late night scrolling and looking at YouTube and instagram and now taking more time for quiet especially for someone who used to meditate for several hours daily.
My bedroom now feels peaceful and it is many hours in the morning before I look at my phone.

I bought my clock in Feb. 2022. It worked for 1.5-years then stopped.
Dec. 2025 I put a New battery into it to try it again, and nothing happens.
Unfortunately web site says warranty is only for 1 year.

I purchased a Bagby Minimalist Silent alarm clock a couple of years ago and just purchased another one. I love the modern look and the wood casing. Most importantly, it is truly silent as well as simple to use. A high quality product and a very responsive company.

This is my second. Yes, it is that good and I love it that much, now I have one in each bedroom. I am especially thankful it is made of pro-earth materials, the packaging was recyclable, and the shipping was speedy and efficient. Terrific product, terrific Etsy shop. Happy buyer.
