THE ROLE

We are looking for a community manager Entry Level to develop our Digital Detox Heroes Community and affiliate program as well as helping the content team to engage with our audience across the social media platforms. You will work hand in hand with the founding team and will be influential in shaping our business strategy and ensuring we have an engaged community of influencers, ambassadors and affiliates. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working hand in hand with the founding and creative team.

  • Managing and leading our “Earned” brand strategy and efforts to boost User Generated Content and product recommendations.

  • Running and developing our growing Digital Detox Heroes community. A new TRIBE of individuals who have taken it upon themselves to unplug and inspired others to follow.   • Managing our social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube).

  • Leading our ambassador / affiliate program to generate additional revenue. https://bagby.co/pages/collaborators
  • Helping and supporting with social media content. You will work with our creative team to develop engaging content pieces.

  • Identifying social media trends, community engagement and earned media opportunities to create viral content (reels, remix, etc.)

  • Helping to support the business development efforts of the company.


Tools to be used:

Shopify, Shopify Collabs, Canva, Office Suite, Social Media Platforms.

HIRING TIMELINE

We’re accepting applications and interviewing for this position throughout February / March 2023. Ideally, the ideal person would be able to start anytime in March. ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who is excited about digital wellbeing and feels the need to change the narrative of the current social media / Ai / Algorithm led situation. Tech is great but we need to reclaim our human time.

You are:

  • Motivated by our mission to increase people’s human time and passionate about making an impact and building a career in the digital wellbeing movement / industry.
  • A creative mind who loves digital marketing and developing online communities; someone who believes there is nothing more powerful than peer recommendations and influencer marketing.
  • You are team player and you are not scared of helping with any task even if it’s outside your scope. You put the team over the individual needs.
  • You are comfortable with a distributed/remote team situation.
  • Ability to be proactive and work as part of a team, as well as independently.
  • Positive, energetic, enthusiastic.
  • Strategic, with a good vision of how your work contributes to the overall success of the business.



Requirements:

  • Recent college graduated in marketing, comms or similar. 
  • Ideally (but not required) 1 year experience in community management / influencer marketing, preferably working on an online store or ecommerce brand.
  • Interested in working on an online startup or small setup.
  • Appetite and interest in building a career in Digital Wellness.
  • Some knowledge of tools like Canva and Shopify.
  • Understanding of major platforms including Instagram, YouTube or TikTok.
  • Target driven and problem-solving oriented.
  • Highly motivated, flexible and adaptable nature.
  • Ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice.
